Gonal-f RFF Pen Solution
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Gonal-f RFF Pen Solution:
Breast pain; discomfort, pain, or mild bruising at the injection site; headache; mild stomach pain or nausea; sinus inflammation; sore throat; stuffy nose.

Hi, i just discovered your blog. I'm also taking Gonal-f rff pen... thanks for posting this... do you know what happens if you forget to take it one night? i didn't forget, but i'm traveling and forgot to bring it with me.. i'm freaking out..

ReplyDeleteI can understand how you feel as there're many uncertainty in IVF and we're trying our best to follow the doc's instruction on the protocol. So its natural to freak out if we didnt manage to follow the instruction.
I dont have an answer for you and would advise you to check with your Doc and he may arrange a detailed scanning to check on the follicles and Blood Test to check that E2 is still suppressed and you've not ovulated which may affect this fertility cycle => this is the purpose of Lucrin (I'm not sure if you've also missed your Lucrin jab).
Just a personal opinion:
GF is to stimulate our ovaries to produce more follicles.
So if you stop for one day, it may mean that the follicles may not grow well on that day due to the absence of GF. But if you were to continue the jab the following day, it may still stim.
Human body is rather complex and a mystery, so we may not know how each cell work and how the body response.
Pls dont panic as you may be scaring yourself which create anxiety and add unnecessary stress to yourself.
Take care and like I've said in earlier post, in pursuing any fertility treatment (esp IVF), we should try to stay calm and relax .......
